The team suite just wasn’t cutting it for Pierre Dorion on Tuesday night.

The Sens GM had been taking in a wild one from up top, as Montreal and Ottawa found themselves tied at fives after regulation. So, with no fans in the stands, Dorion figured… time to get a little creative! So what did the guy do? He marched his way down behind Carey Price’s net to take in the action (because who wants to see action in the defensive zone, right?! It made for a pretty weird seen but hey, only during the 2021 season we supposed!

Fans took notice, and of course had their share of jokes on Twitter.

And apparently the players did, too! The Sens came out on top in the shootout with their GM taking in a front row view of the game. Maybe Pierre needs to do this more often?

Who knows, maybe others GMs will follow his lead?
