Weโve all been guilty of it.
You show up to the rink and you have this empty pit in your stomach. So, logically you find whatever food you can at the rink and have a nice little snack. Most of the time itโs done in the dressing room but when things are running tight, youโre forced to bring that munch onto the bench. Dallas Stars forward Alexander Radulov was guilty of just that tonight and it made for one of the funnier moments so far this season.
As action was about to unfold, the Russian was caught eating a banana on the bench. Not just eating thoughโฆ this thing looked like the best darn banana on the planet. Someone looked a little hungry!
Has a banana ever looked tastier? Fans were absolutely loving it.
Radulov hasnโt been alone in providing hockey fans some golden eating moments. Take this backup tendy for example, who HAMMERED this hot dog off the ice. Guy has some pretty sick flow, too.
Even Radulovโs own teammate Tyler Seguin indulges in food on the bench, albeit a little more on the unhealthy side.
The next time youโre reluctant to stuff your face on the bench just remember something; the NHLโs best do it, too.
