The Toronto Raptors are set to receive their championship rings on opening night, but they got a nice piece of hardware ahead of time from a certain WWE star.
You may have missed it amid the insane reaction to the Champs’ Game 6 victory last June, but the legendary Triple H shared out a gorgeous custom championship belt with the Raptors’ logo on it. Well, all these months later, the belt was delivered to the team and wow… it’s just as nice as the one which was advertised. Take a look at this beauty!
Just awesome. After catching site of the reaction, Triple H took to Twitter to respond to Powell’s reaction. Forget the argument over whether or not Kawhi deserves a statue in Toronto. We clearly just need one of Triple H!!!!
The Raptors now join the New England Patriots, WNBA’s Seattle Storm and Boston Red Sox to all receive their title belts. The Larry O’Brien trophy is cool and all but this definitely pops out, too.
