We’ve officially hit rock-bottom in Buffalo, folks.

The Sabres lost their fifth straight on Thursday night and to say fans everyone attached to the organization is feeling defeated right now would be an understatement. The fans are fed up, the coaches are running out of answers and the players… well, they’re starting to feel pretty down on themselves about now.

Look no further than defenceman Rasmus Ristoliainen

It feels like the Finns’ name has been involved in trade rumours for quite some time now but despite it all, he’s been with Buffalo from the get-go and you’ve got to wonder if he’s getting fed up. As Risto simply put it, “no one wants to suck.” To give you a bit of perspective on how bad the Sabres have been their last playoff appearance came in… 2011.

Brutal.

Buffalo is now 2-9-1 in their last 12 and dead last in the Eastern Division. As for head coach Ralph Krueger? Yeah, guy’s been having a pretty tough go behind the bench.

Even commentators from other teams are going at them for crying out loud.

So what’s the answer? The team has all the fire power it needs up front but just can’t figure it out. Let us know what you think they need  to do @BarDown, because we’re running out of answers.
