When a fan favourite or long time member of an organization is traded, there’s a good chance there will be a tribute video upon his return highlighting all the spectacular moments compiled into one video that can bring tears to the eyes of the player and fans.
But sometimes, things don’t always go to plan and work out how you’d envision. Take Isaiah Thomas, for example. After coming over in the offseason deal that saw Kyrie Irving head to Beantown, Thomas didn’t suit up for the Cavs until January 2nd against Portland after nursing a hip injury. Thomas failed to develop any real synergy with LeBron James in the 15 games with Cleveland and the experiment ended on Thursday's trade deadline day when the Cavs reshaped their roster.
The 29-year-old point guard was sent to the Lakers in a four-player deal.
While his time was short lived in Believeland, there were still some incredible, memorable moments, and we have a video documenting them all.
