The Detroit Red Wings are defending home ice against the Montreal Canadiens tonight, but before the action started, arena ops ran into a bit of an issue when the anthem singer’s microphone cut out during the performance of O Canada.
Fortunately, Red Wings fans at Little Caesars Arena stepped up to sing it themselves. Does this get you an honorary citizenship or what?

Nah, in all seriousness, this is cool to see. Detroit’s just across the river from Windsor, anyway, so we figure a bit of the Canadiana rubs off when you’re that close.
