First, there were 32 and then there was one.

And itโ€™s a mighty one alright. Over the last week, we put together a bracket-styled jersey vote where fans could pick on their favourite NHL jerseys of all-time on our Instagram page, @TSN_Official.

Yesterday, we announced the final two that would square off the finals: the Anaheim Mighty Ducksโ€™ white jersey (1996-2006) more than doubled up their votes (34,591 to 16,645) against the Hartford Whalers' white jersey (1979-1992); in the other semi-finals match-up, the Quebec Nordiques' blue uniform (1990-1995) defeated the then-Phoenix Coyotes โ€œKachinaโ€ threads by a tally of 28,192 to 22,295.

With the final vote in, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim have been crowned winners of the greatest jersey in NHL history!

The Ducks received 10, 310 more votes than the Norqiues, earning a whopping 159,513 votes over the entire tournament; the final tally for the final matchup was 26,966 votes for the Mighty Ducks and 16,656 for the Nordiques. The majority of our Instagram followers fall in the 25-34 range, which aligns with their childhoods when Disney released the Mighty Ducks trilogy with Paul Kariya in his prime.

And fans of the jersey vote together, too. A big thanks to everyone that participated in bracket voting!
