Rodion Amirov wasn’t able to score this goal, but just to create the shot that he did required some serious skills that we’re sure Toronto Maple Leafs fans are going to love to see from this year’s 15th overall pick.
Like, this was nearly one of the filthiest goals we’ve seen in a minute. Amirov completely undresses the defender, and juuust wasn’t able to slip it in past the goalie.
As cool as the move was, it won’t count for anything on the scoreboard — but the potential!
Hey, Amirov is certainly no stranger to finding the back of the net as it is, and we’re sure that Leafs fans are going to enjoy getting used to this guy doing his thing.
