In the soccer world, the hottest debate is about who the best player in the world is, Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
Both players have skills that have convinced they're not from this planet, but neither has a World Cup. Ronaldo moved one step closer to reaching that goal Friday with a hat trick to tie Spain.
Messi, on the other hand, opened up his tournament against Iceland Saturday and in the second half with the game tied 1-1, he had a chance from the spot to give Argentina the lead.
