Dane Dobbie played 182 games for the Calgary Roughnecks from 2008 to 2020 and scored 435 goals, 454 assists and 889 points, which are all franchise-records, during that time.

For the first time in his NLL career Dobbie is playing for someone other than the Roughnecks as the 2019 MVP is now a member of the San Diego Seals, and on Friday night he made his first trip back to Calgary since joining the Seals.

The Roughnecks’ all-time leading scorer felt right at home in his return as he led the Seals to a 17-12 victory by scoring seven (!!) goals and adding two assists.

The return was a personal one for Dobbie and he was on a mission all night to leave his former hometown with a victory and a reminder that he can still do it with the best of them.

Dobbie’s now leading the NLL in goals with 10 through three games, and he sits tied for second in the league in points with 17.
