Russell Westbrook doesn’t care what many other people think.
He is a totally unique personality, something that is very evident in his wardrobe. Everyone would be a little happier if they were true to themselves, and Westbrook is trying to make that happen. He wants you to be you and he’s showing you it’s possible by doing everything that everyone has told him not to do, such as lighting the rim on fire and dunking a ball while riding a dirt bike.
Now we just have to wait until people start reading into how this could be a shot at KD. That’s what happened with his jersey on Saturday as people began thinking his Willie Beamen jersey was a shot at KD too.
We’re sure Steamin’ Willie Beamen would have the same advice as Westbrook: Do you!
