Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning is in the Vezina conversation this season because he's been dominant for the Tampa Bay Lightning, who are in first place in the East.

The 23-year-old has also started a trend, which is hard to do if you're a goalie, but when you can make a behind the back glove save multiple times during a season, that's how you can start a trend.

In an MHL game (a hockey league in Russia), goaltender Alexander Sharygin did his best Vasilevskiy impression and it was incredible to say the least.

Sharygin made the save in the shootout and saves don't get much more incredible than that beauty.

The look on the player who took the shot's face says it all.  He thought he had the easiest shootout goal of his life, but it ended up being grand larceny.
