Soccer goalies have it pretty tough. Attempting to guard a net that is about four times the length of their body is tough enough, but it doesn’t help that the ball comes screaming off the oppositions foot at ridiculous speeds.

Often times, there is nothing a goaltender can possibly do to make a save. But sometimes it definitely is their fault…

Daniel Vega was manning the net for the San Jose Earthquakes as the Los Angeles Galaxy played host. It was a tough day overall for Vega, as the Earthquakes lost 5-0, but there was no lower moment than the first allowed goal for the Argentine keeper.

 

 

We’re thinking he’ll want to put this one in the past as quickly as possible. Just put the whole game in the past…
