In Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final, Braden Holtby captured the imagination of many with a dramatic third period save that many credited for preventing the Capitals from falling down 2-0 to the Golden Knights. It was, well, picture-perfect.

Now, Reddit user theflippist has decided to memorialize Holtby’s save in another art form: the flipbook. Seriously, check this thing out!

The attention to detail is striking -- never before has a cover-up of the puck looked so cinematic. Of course, some credit goes to Holtby for coming through on the grandest stage that hockey has to offer.

In the end, we are all Flipbook Alexander Ovechkin.
