Sergio Garcia quieted a lot of his naysayers last year when he won his first Green Jacket and he is finishing up his year as champion with one of the best traditions.

The Masters is so often associated with the phrase “A tradition unlike any other” truly lives up to the name with a lot of the different customs they follow every year. The latest one we’ve been able to see is the choosing of the Champions Dinner menu.

It’s a fairly secretive meeting between former Masters champions, but every year they tease the public with a look at what’s on the menu. Garcia has tapped into his Spanish roots for this year’s version.

He went on to explain many of the dishes on his menu and what they mean to him. Garcia clearly put a lot of thought into this menu and we’re sure it will show on the plate.

Who knows, maybe one day we’ll see a Master Chef: Masters Edition. The golfers can trade their Green Jackets in for Green Aprons and it might finally be a competition that Tiger Woods won’t be favoured for. On his menu, he kept things pretty simple with a burger, fries and a milkshake.

We’re sure it was delicious, but we’re not sure it’s going to be received as a culinary master piece.
