Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal are part of what might be the most popular panel in all of sports and they showed exactly why on Tuesday night.

They are some of the best personalities out there and it’s because they’re so honest. They don’t hold back criticism for each other, players, coaches or anybody else that enters the crosshairs of the panel so it feels more authentic than many others. Their latest argument started with a discussion about player and coach relationships and it quickly turned into a yelling match.

The clip doesn’t have the full context of the discussion, but it starts with Shaq suggesting that Dwane Casey needs to stop babying the Raptors if they ever want to win. Chuck disagrees and things get heated very quickly.

The Casey dilemma is a weird one for the Raptors. Casey has obviously been a very successful regular season coach for the Raptors, but the team just hasn’t succeeded on the bigger stage. It’s tough to put that blame on Casey, but it’s possible that the Raptors might feel they just need to mix things up somewhere and replacing the coach is easier than replacing the players.

Their decision wasn’t made any easier on Wednesday as Casey was named coach of the year by the NBA Coaches Association.

Dwane Casey has been named Coach of the Year by the NBA Coaches Association. Thoughts? 🤔🤔
