When you’re the best player in your sport, you get a target on your back. Just look at all the LeBron James, Sidney Crosby and Tom Brady haters out there.

Combine that with the fact that Sidney Crosby’s biggest rival is with the city most notorious for having wild fans, and a Flyers vs. Pens series was bound to have some Crosby trolling. Flyers fans have tried and failed to get in Crosby’s head as he’s now second in the playoffs in scoring and he’s even giving it back to them a little bit.

Before Sunday’s game, Flyers fans put pictures of Crosby in urinals around Wells Fargo Arena and the Penguins captain was asked about it after his four-point game:

Sidney Crosby doesn’t think the Flyers fan’s troll job is very original 🚽🚽

Crosby points out that Flyers fans weren’t very original with their trolling and that he thinks they stole the idea from another team’s fan base that also did this. Looking back through Twitter, there is at least one person earlier this year that mentioned it happening at the Pepsi Center, the home of the Colorado Avalanche.

We’re not sure why people choose to hate on the greatest player of his generation, but we probably wouldn’t recommend poking the bear.
