It's not every day that you get to sit and talk with an NBA player, and it's even less likely to get to sit and chill with one DURING a game.

Thursday, during the Sixers game versus the Lakers, Philadelphia guard Jerryd Bayless fell out of bounds after dramatically diving in an attempt to keep the ball in play, landing directly on top of a group of fans who were sitting courtside. After apologizing to a young fan who felt the full force of his dive, Bayless remained seated and just hung out courtside while he waited for a towel.

How about that for a courtside experience? Can you imagine being that kid and getting to go to school tomorrow and telling your friends that Bayless crushed you after attempting to keep a stray rebound off a missed Ben Simmons dunk in bounds. Oh and that he stayed there and just chilled courtside with you for a short while.

It's the kind of story that you wouldn't have believed before the social media era.
