Coaches: Stay in your lane!

We’re not even asking for a lot here. Just maybe consider not tripping opposing players, like, ever. And especially not after they outwork your defense to create what looked like a real scoring chance? This is the Grayson Allen defense at work.

That’s one of the more shameless acts of interference we’ve seen in some time. Now, it could be argued that the player was careening along the sideline and quite possibly out of bounds, so the damage done may not have been so severe.

But that’s wack, we say. Get that manager out of there!

We’re reminded of Jason Kidd drawing a foul on Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Woodson, who was unintentionally standing on the court during play, by running smack into him on purpose. We think more players should do this when coaches try to overplay themselves.
