Overpriced sports food. We’ve all been there where you cannot wait to finally chow down on a 15 dollars worth of 3 chicken strips and a handful of fries or whatever your sports food of choice may be.

But, for fans at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles the dining experience was questionable… at best. A picture surfaced of a $15 pepperoni pizza that had fans in outrage and it didn’t take long for other menu items to make their appearance on social media as well.

Let’s review some of these shall we.

First, we’ll look at the margarita pizza.

Yep you read that right, a MARGARITA PIZZA. This is unequivocally the easiest type of pizza to make. Apparently the recipe is not universal as for $15 dollars you get no cheese and more basil than you’ll ever need. It’s very much a “deep dish” slice and the exact opposite of the standard crust that it is more thin. Obviously, we don’t know the taste, but we’re willing to bet that you may be better suited to spend your money elsewhere.

Next up, the hot dog.

This one isn’t as egregious as the pizza, but that’s not saying much. The bun is different from the typical store bought ones you traditionally see at sports games so we can give SoFi Stadium a little extra credit for that. They just completely missed the mark on the actual size of the hot dog. At least for this fans are getting a little more bang for their buck. We do have to question the photographer though; no mustard, ketchup, onions.. Anything?

Last but not least, the burger subs.

Yikes. It looks like someone accidentally or intentionally sat down on this before serving it. The “burger patty” has the resemblance of a smooched brownie which isn’t exactly the quality you’d want in a burger. It seems to be a running theme that they can’t quite find the right balance with the cheese at SoFi Stadium. Sure it’s the industry standard for the cheese to not be melted, but we were hoping for a little more effort.

Score: 3.5/10

Multiple fans chimed in with their opinions on the food as well.

Let’s hope the L.A Rams play better than the way their concession looks.

So what do you think of our ratings of the food at SoFi Stadium and do you have any bad sports food moments?
