After coming one win away from playing for the Stanley Cup last season, the Ottawa Senators are pretty far out of the playoff picture more than halfway through the season.

With the trade deadline coming up and the team in second last in the Atlantic Division, the trade rumours are heating up and one of the names that seems to come up frequently in these rumours is Mike Hoffman.

The 28-year-old has 7 points in his last 5 games, the latest of which came against the Nashville Predators Thursday night as he scored the overtime winner to give the Senators their second straight win.

The goal was exceptional as Hoffman used his speed to get in all alone and finish the game, and the goal showcased why he's such a sought after commodity.

Another thing that was great about the goal, too, according to some fans is the fact that Hoffman celebrated and apparently did P.K. Subban's goal celebration.

Here are GIFs of both celebrations so you can decided for yourself if Hoffman did the Subban.
