Michael Scott didn’t go to business school. You know who else didn’t go to business school? LeBron James. He went right from high school to the NBA.

So, it’s only natural that in a mash-up of the new look Los Angeles Lakers and The Office made by Reddit user u/fantasyfool, the former Scranton branch manager of Dunder Mifflin was replaced by one of basketball’s greatest players ever.

As Michael Scott once said, basketball is like jazz. It seems likely enough that LeBron has also said this, like, at least once in his life. They’re practically the same!

After putting a rather curious roster around LeBron, you know the Internet had to get its jokes off. Just about all of their recent acquisitions — Lance Stephenson, Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee — have had some form of beef with LeBron over the last few seasons.

Professionals can usually put the personal aside to work together, but with that said, it’ll be an interesting year to say the least. The Lakers’ summer activity may not even be over yet, if they can manage to procure Kawhi Leonard away from the San Antonio Spurs. (The asking price so far, though, has been just a tad outrageous.)

In other news from the intersection of basketball and The Office, the Los Angeles Clippers signed a dude named Mike Scott. Really.
