There’s an argument to be made that LeBron James is the greatest basketball player of all-time, and while we’re not here to make that particular argument right now, it does illustrate his standing among other all-time greats. Even the Los Angeles Lakers, with their highly decorated history, might never have had a guy this good come through.

It’s probably safe to say that this is still heresy, though: Somebody taped a cutout of LeBron James’ face over a Kobe Bryant mural in Los Angeles. We have no idea who it was, but after another, more faithful Lakers fan happened across this sight, he had to take direct action.

He also had to take one of his shoes off.

Because the cutout of LeBron’s face was so high up, there was no other way to take it down than to just throw things at it. Honestly, we respect it, but it’s still hilarious to watch a guy throw a shoe at a wall under any circumstance.

More importantly, who is going around taping LeBron’s face on top of things? There’s no need to pull the legs out from underneath one legend just to celebrate another one.

If you want to see some dope LeBron artwork, the Los Angeles Times ran an original piece to lead their sports section the day after he signed with the Lakers. And they did it without dragging Kobe! It's possible after all.
