Cryptocurrency has been big in the news recently with Bitcoin surpassing $50,000 Canadian per coin. The Blockchain game has been popping off and Canadian startup Dapper Labs is behind the NBAโs version of blockchain with NBA moments.
These moments are essentially online basketball card which hold highlights and can be bought with cryptocurrency as well as regular cash. This form of collectibles has been picking up, so much so that someone bought a Hebron moments for $25,000
The craziest part about it is that that same highlight is now going for a minimum of $40,000!
Dapper Labs and NBA top shot have also been crushing it in sales in the blockchain space.
With sports cards blowing up, this could be the future of collectibles in all sports.
