Sports fans are a creative bunch and Gritty might have inspired more creativity than any sports figure in the last calendar year.
Gritty exploded onto the NHL scene nearly one year ago and at this point might be one of the most well-known personalities in hockey. His stardom has inspired costumes, cakes, beer and plenty of other odd items, but the latest creative endeavour might be our favourite.
DuaneShootsToys on Instagram took an Eric Lindros action figure and turned it into Gritty.
Over the past couple of days, people have been reliving some of Gritty’s greatest moments, but this definitely has to be up there. Although, we’re not sure anything will ever pass the moment Jay and Dan were first introduced to the furry orange beast.
