Steven Stamkos returned to the Tampa Bay Lightning’s lineup for the first time in seven months on Wednesday night.

The Lightning captain only ended up logging 2:47 of ice time before leaving the game, but that was all he needed to make a positive impact for his club.

Not only did Stamkos’ goal help lead the Lightning to victory in Game 3, it also put him on an extremely short list.

He also became the second player in NHL history and the first in more than 80 years to score a goal while skating in his first game of the playoffs during the Stanley Cup Final.
