The Dallas Stars are finishing up their season tonight, and ahead of their clash with the Minnesota Wild, there are a lot of question marks.

They aren’t sure exactly who they will be playing after tonight, with a 1st round matchup against the Blues, Preds, Jets, or Flames still a possibility. On top of that question mark, their depth is one massive question mark in general. Ahead of their Saturday night clash, 42.4% of the Stars’ goals have come from one line made up of Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, and Alex Radulov.

Unfortunately, there are just some players that haven’t pulled their weight on offence. One of those would certainly be Valeri Nichushkin, who did not score a goal all year despite playing in 57 games.

That is severely disappointing, but it’s not all bad. He also have zero penalty minutes. Put those two stats together and you have one of the odder streaks in the NHL.

Is that good… or bad?

We’re thinking the Stars would absolutely trade a few minutes in the box for a little help putting the puck in the net. For a player making nearly three million this year, they were certainly looking for a little more out of the young Russian.
