Stephen A. Smith has never been one to hold back, and Monday night was no exception.

The New York Jets hosted the New England Patriots in prime time and things got ugly in a hurry. Before anyone could blink, the Jets found themselves down 24-0 and sophomore quarterback Sam Darnold, along with head coach Adam Gase both looked completely lost. Smith couldn’t contain himself through the madness and ripped apart the Jets for the performance, calling it a “damn shame” that the Jets were playing on national television.

As Darnold continued to struggle late in the game, Smith questioned why Darnold was was still in action. The 22-year-old claimed he was seeing ghosts on the field for crying out loud!!!!

The Jets were coming off of an emotional Week 6 victory over the Dallas Cowboys but came out completely flat against their AFC East rival. Darnold finished with just 11 completions for 86 yards, adding four interceptions and a lost fumble. The loss drops them to 1-5 and we have a feeling Stephen A. wasn’t the only one feeling this way during the action.
