Is Steve Kerr the best coach in the league? It’s very hard to tell seeing as he coaches a team that is unarguably the most talented in the league, but you also can’t really say he’s a bad coach seeing as he man’s his unique position well.

Instead of going through the back-and-forth on this topic, let’s just agree that he is certainly one of the funniest coaches in the league. He sometimes acts as though the whole process of coaching is just a giant joke in the first place, just take a look at a few of these press conferences he’s propped his way out of.

Kerr took his level of disconnect to another level on Monday when he literally let the players take over the actual coaching aspect of his job.

While Warriors nation was having a little fun with it, the Suns weren’t too happy with what they perceived to be disrespect.

In response to the backlash, Chris Webber and Reggie Miller explained that the Suns should be focusing on themselves rather than the Warriors.

“The fact that Phoenix [complained] shows they have a long way to go in the locker room. They don’t have a leader in the locker room that says, ‘We deserve to get our butts beat like that. In a couple of years, we’re going to turn it around so we can coach ourselves.’ So I have no words for that, but it’s not right. I’ll say something crazy.” Said Webber (via Arizona Sports)

“Lace them up, 3 o’clock in the morning. We’re doing [running drills] and then we’re going to run Camelback Mountain. I don’t want to hear your mouths. Are you kidding me? [26 double-digit losses], and you’re worried about Andre Iguodala coaching and David West coaching?” added Miller (via Arizona Sports)

While some hopped on the disrespect train, and others on the get-over-it train, Tyronn Lue – coach of Warriors’ rival the Cleveland Cavaliers – jokes that LeBron has already been called coach of the team, and he wouldn’t dare allow that image to break the internet

We all know who the handoff would be to
