Kazakhstan isn't a hockey powerhouse by any means, but they've endeared themselves to fans in British Columbia at the World Juniors.  Each and every game, fans have been showing their support for the underdog nation by cheering for every shot, save, and goal.

Monday night, Kazakhstan faced its toughest opponent of the tournament in Sweden and they played arguably their best game of the tournament in large part due to the man in net.

Denis Karatayev made over 50 saves in the 4-1 loss and the two largest ovations of the night from the crowd on hand came when Kazakhstan scored and when Karatayev was named his team's player of the game.

An incredible display of respect from the fans and the Swedish players. Kazakhstan will now play in the relegation round and they were sent off the ice with another ovation from the fans in Victoria.
