The Champions Hockey League is a European tournament that features the top teams from the highest tier leagues across Europe.

This past week, the Malmö Redhawks of the Swedish Hockey League went head-to-head with KalPa of the Finish Liiga and it was a wild game. Already leading 2-1 nearing the midway point of the second period, the Redhawks added to their lead thanks to a beautiful shorthanded goal by 23-year-old Fredrik Händemark.

Händemark pulled off a fantastic spin-o-rama to get around the defender and then capped off the play by putting the puck in the back of the net.

Malmö went on to score another goal just over a minute later to extend their lead to three, but KalPa went on to score five unanswered goals to win 6-4.
