Zlatan Ibrahimovic has never been afraid to let everyone know how he’s feeling, and apparently that stretches all the way back to when he was a kid.
The outspoken Swedish soccer superstar sat down to discuss everything from his career, to his transfer to the LA Galaxy, to his childhood, a time when he almost hung up the cleats early in favour of skates.
Who knows whether Zlatan would have been successful on the ice, but soccer fans are likely glad he stuck to it (or, more specifically, couldn’t afford it). Zlatan has made waves in the MLS after entering his debut game and making an immediate impact.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned this week, it’s that hockey fans don’t appreciate athletes assuming that they could simply leave their own sport to play hockey. While Zlatan may be excused based on the fact this was a childhood decision, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has felt the wrath.
