Mark July 6, 2019 as one of the sadder days in Toronto Raptors history.

Sure, the organization is less than a month away from its first championship, but unfortunately it was forced to say goodbye to arguably its greatest all-time players. Early Saturday morning, news leaked that Kawhi Leonard will be signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, leaving the Raptors after a one, but very significant season. While Clippers fans (and players) were ecstatic about the news, Raptors fans were predictably upset, and if there was one response that particularly stood out… it came from Taylor Hall’s Twitter page.

He was ALL Raps fans with this one.

We feel you Tay, we feel you.

While Hall just expressed disappointment, other NHLers made sure to acknowledge Kawhi’s work in Toronto. San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture seemed to be a bit more understanding.

And then there's Max Domi, who's already saying ‘The Klaw’ deserves his own jersey retirement and statue. Imagine having THAT kind of impact on an organization after a single year?!

This one is going to sting in Toronto for a while, it was beautiful while it lasted. What do you think Kawhi deserves after bringing the Raps their first chip?

So #Raptors fans, what do you think?
