Terrell Owens has never been afraid to share his opinions, and those opinions are often seeping with a self-confidence that most people will never even know. Since he left the NFL 8 years ago, we haven’t heard quite as much from T.O., although that may all change pretty soon.

The rumours are swirling, the 44-year-old Owens may be trying his luck in the CFL.

Recently Owens opened up a signing window for the Edmonton Eskimos to make him an offer. The Esks have until July 24 to make a contract offer before they relinquish the rights, and if you ask Owens he is well worth the time.

While Owens would definitely draw some eyeballs, there is some serious speculation on whether he would be able to be an effective receiver at the age of 44. Recently a video emerged of Owens running a 4.44 40-yard dash, so we know he has at least a little left in the tank.

Ask the current players in the CFL and you may get a different idea. While they all respect the legendary receiver, they also warn him that the CFL isn’t a cake walk.
