Adam Jones has become somewhat of a villain in Canada and he appears to be fully embracing that status today at the Dome.

While the Blue Jays and Orioles players were warming up for their tilt tonight in Toronto, Jones and his teammates appeared on the field wearing a Washington Capitals Jersey. After years of near fights happening between these teams (Jose Bautista and Darren O’Day feuds, Marcus Stroman throwing behind people etc.), fans in Toronto didn’t need another reason to dislike the Orioles.

Still, they gave them one.

Adam #Jones showed up in Toronto repping the Washington #Capitals.

If MLB support has any impact on the Hockey Gods, the Leafs are in trouble, because the Capitals are getting support from more than one team.

Realistically, the Leafs are less in trouble because of MLB support and more in trouble because of how ridiculously stacked the Capitals roster is. People can say what they will about the Capitals playoff performance, but it’s hard to pick against a team with a lineup like that.
