Basketball fans speculated where the King might land, and other teams (namely the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers) tried to lure him in. But it was Magic John and the Lakers who managed to bring โ€˜The Kingโ€™ to the Western Conference. After the deal was made official, basketball personalities, fans, and players took to social media.

It only seems logical that another big name will be heading to Los Angeles in the near future. Fans are already speculating that Spurs all-star Kawhi Leonard will also be on his way shortly.

With LeBron in town, the Lakers are all of the sudden back to being contenders in the Western Conference. Theyโ€™ll just have to get by Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors, first.
