The Boston Bruins have been here before. They’re about to open play on their third Stanley Cup Finals in the last nine years alone, and this is nothing new for the city of Boston, which has already enjoyed championships by the MLB’s Red Sox and NFL’s Patriots over the last year.

Playing for the Cup never gets old, though. Even for just a team scrimmage in advance of Game 1, Bruins fans showed out strong and sold out the TD Garden. The place was bumping as if the Final was here already!

Proceeds from the scrimmage benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation to give back to the community, so it’s all for a good cause. Considering that the Bruins had time off for a lengthy stretch there, after sweeping the Hurricanes in the conference final, they’re just trying to stay sharp before the final push for the Cup.

They’re excited in Boston right now. Even the Patriots were repping their Bruins gear at OTAs today.
