All eyes were on Auston Matthews last night, as the 2016 first overall pick put on a clinic in a 4-3 overtime win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Matthews tallied two goals including the game-winner in the extra frame. The victory was a rarity for the Leafs, who lost their previous 14 matchups against Montreal.

When a player displays heroics of some sort, at least one fan usually tries to step up and find a way to glorify them in a unique way. Take Vegas Golden Knights forward James Neal for example, who had his draft, height, and the way he shoots adjusted on Wikipedia after he led the team to its first franchise win with a two-goal performance.

Following Toronto's victory, another fan used the same medium to completely embarrass the Habs. If you take a look at the team’s Wikipedia page, it states that Auston Matthews is their majority owner.

Ouch. It probably won’t last long, but the edit is hilarious nonetheless.

With last night’s game, Matthews now has four goals and one assist in five career matchups against the Canadiens. In their previous contest, the American scored both goals in a 3-2 OT loss when the Leafs hosted their rival on February 25.

Toronto fans would be wise to keep their eyes locked onto their Wikipedia page in an event of a loss after the next time the two meet, as Montreal fans are likely already plotting their revenge. The two teams faceoff next at the Bell Centre on November 18.
