The 2021 NBA All-Star Game will be featuring a court that was designed in collaboration with HBCU alumni, from many different schools, to honor and pay tribute to historically black colleges and universities.
Seven artists who attend HBCUs will have their custom artwork displayed throughout the NBA All-Stars, during events, in the arena, in the hotels, on broadcast, and across the NBAs social platforms ahead of and during the NBA All-Star. The court is one of the areas.
The court represents both the academic significance, as well as the incredible pride & school spirit of HBCUs & their students. Created with HBCU alumni, it incorporates icons representing the best of HBCU academics, music, and campus life.
