The power went out during play in game between the Colts and Steelheads Friday night

One of the most memorable moments in Super Bowl history happened in 2013 when the power went out in the Superdome during the game.

The power outage only added to the drama as the 49ers made a late comeback but ultimately fell short of completing it as the Ravens held on to win the Super Bowl.

The point we're trying to make, though, is power outages don't happen often at sporting events, but when they do, they're always memorable and Friday night, everyone in attendance at the Colts and Steelheads game found that out.

Although short, the power outage occurred during play. Fortunately nobody was hurt, and the Colts Twitter account even had some fun with the situation.

Barrie held on to win the game 3-2.
