If there's going to be anyone who chirps you for whipping out, it’s definitely going to be your teammates.
And unfortunately for Joey Gallo, his Rangers teammates took his unfortunate whip out during Monday’s game against the Yankees and absolutely RAN with the joke.
Not even ran, but full-on Usain Bolted with it.
As the Rangers star made his way to first following a wild pitch, Gallo rounded the bag to make a run for second before he essentially face-planted on first.
Thankfully he was fine, but that didn’t stop the Rangers from having some fun with it and turning the field into a crime scene at Globe Life Field.
This is just ruthless. Absolutely ruthless, and hey we won’t lie this is the level of pettiness and fun we adore.
We're glad Gallo was able to just laugh it off because we on the other hand would absolutely opt for a paper bag and hide in embarrassment for YEARS.
