With a chance to win it all in tonight’s Game 5 against the Warriors, the Raptors are all business. This is such a big moment, the culmination of 24 years of team history, and it could all pay off here.

How are they marking the occasion on tonight’s free shirts? Well, sweet and simple. This is an oldie, but a goodie: The Raptors are bringing back their classic ‘We The North’ shirts. Just plain red with black lettering across the front, no frills, but this one means a lot.

Tonight, we sing the anthem together all in red. #WeTheNorth

How poetic is this? To have a chance at an NBA championship, and to pay homage to when this particular era of Raptors basketball started, with the “We the North” identity that has defined this team in its most successful years since 2014.

No doubt, this game will be a sentimental one, regardless of result. We wouldn’t be surprised if the team had even more planned for the night. Already, they’ve announced something special for O Canada — instead of being led by a singer, as normal, the Raptors will have the crowd take the reins for this one.

This will be cool 👀🇨🇦
