Let’s get weird! After drafting Lamar Jackson in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft, it seemed as if the Baltimore Ravens would take their time grooming the quarterback behind starter Joe Flacco. But, don’t be so quick to judge, because Ravens coach John Harbaugh has more interesting designs in mind.

Although there were some rumblings before the draft that teams would try to convert Jackson into a receiver, this seems to be something else. These are explicitly two-quarterback sets, which the NFL mostly hasn’t seen since the New York Jets dabbled with Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow sharing the backfield. Back then, it didn’t work.

Still, the outside-the-box thinking is exciting! Early reviews from Jackson’s teammates on the Ravens have been exceptional, with the quarterback even being compared to a young Michael Vick.

This is all hearsay and experimentation until we see something real in the regular season, but the prospect of seeing their latest draft acquisition add new wrinkles to their playbook by Week 1 sure has to have Ravens fans excited.

Heck, for any fans of football, you might want to see what a bizarro two-QB set looks like in the NFL for yourself.
