The Baltimore Ravens continue to solidify themselves as a top team in the NFL. No matter what the challenge, they seem to be up for it. On Sunday, that challenge was one of the most stout defences in the league in the Buffalo Bills. While it wasn’t the blowout that they’ve committed on other teams, it was a complete front-to-back effort that resulted in a 24-17 victory.
It also meant the Ravens would be headed back to the post-season, as they officially clinched a spot in the show. If you checked into the Ravens locker room, you could hardly tell.
According to coach John Harbaugh, it was expected. They acted as such.
"I tried to make a big deal about it in the locker room, and the guys kind of gave me a smattering of applause," coach John Harbaugh said during his post-game presser. "They expected that; I think they've earned the right to expect that."
You love to see this kind of attitude from a locker room with a Super Bowl in their sights. It’s the sort of “Do Your Job” attitude that has made the New England Patriots such an effective dynasty, and the same attitude that makes you respect Lamar Jackson and his unselfish play.
