The Toronto Raptors may not be seen as quite as dangerous as they were during their 2019 run to the NBA title, but one thing definitely hasn’t changed; the level of comradery.

The Raps team is like a brother-hood, with team members seeming more like family than teammates at times. One relationship that is particularly special is that of Fred VanVleet and Kyle Lowry, the two starting guards on the team.

Lowry has been around the league a long time, while Fred is establishing himself as a force. He did so in a big way on Tuesday when he dropped a career-high and Raps franchise record 54 points. Following the game, Fred was mauled by teammates upon entering the locker room, and Kyle Lowry followed up the moment (which he was right in the middle of) with an awesome speech.

If that doesn’t make you smile, you’re probably the Grinch. Or a Magic fan.
