Itβs been a long and grueling process since election day first began back on November 4th, but on Saturday morning America officially projected Joe Biden as the President Elect over current sitting President Donald Trump.
In what was possibly the most divisive election of all-time, more Americans felt the need to get out and vote than ever before. The staggeringly high numbers took a long time to count with a lot of the election being conducted through a mail-in vote system, but when it was announced that Joe Biden was officially projected to flip Pennsylvania into a blue state, it got him the 270 electoral votes needed to win.
With an election so polarizing, just about everyone had an opinion on it. It didnβt take long for the sports world to chime in, with lots of athletes sharing their support of Biden and congratulating him on victory.
