The Vegas Golden Knights are preparing to make history in their inaugural season and their anxiety appears to have hit an all-time high.
With the exception of goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and forward James Neal, not a single player on Vegas’ roster has been to the Stanley Cup. With the big dance just two nights away, the team’s infamous Twitter team sent out a hilarious tweet that proves just how eager the organization is to kick off the action.
How long do you figure that must’ve taken?
The Golden Knights’ Twitter team has been in the spotlight all season with numerous five-star tweets. Earlier in the year, they ended a minor beef with the Montreal Canadiens when they roasted them with a gutless comeback.
They were even taking shots at the Los Angeles Kings before the season even started.
The team announced ahead of the playoffs that the mastermind behind most of their work throughout the regular season moved on, however, it appears the account is doing just fine. As the playoffs continue to unfold, you can expect some more hilarious content from the NHL’s newest twitter team.
