You know how you really know that a postseason rivalry is really heating up? When municipal library Twitter accounts start getting involved in the action.

The Jets series with the Golden Knights has been a tight affair thus far, with no team winning by more than 2 goals in the first three games of the conference final. Something that everyone predicted heading into the series. However, according to the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Twitter account, the Jets could use a little brushing up on how the game of hockey works, responding to a tweet from the Winnipeg Public Library account with a chirp in the form of a book recommendation.

 

 


After the Jets win, the Winnipeg Library clapped back with an appropriate response, especially considering it's literally the Knights first year in the league.
 

 

Following the Knights win in game two, the Vegas library account decided to reignite the Twitter feud, posting another stack of back-handed book recommendations, to which the Winnipeg library account responded with a few more of their own. And then somehow the conversation moved on to talking about the film, Goon...

 

 

 

If you had told us at the beginning of the year that the Winnipeg and Las Vegas library Twitter account would be duking it out deep into May, we wouldn't have even understood what you were talking about. But now that we've seen this feud blossom into an all-out Twitter war, we're all for it!
