Monday, the Raptors failed to make a late comeback versus the Sixers in Philadelphia, falling 117-111. But the most interesting takeaway from the game wasn't the final result. It was Kyle Lowry and Ben Simmons' strange mix-up.

In the closing moments of the game, both Lowry and Simmons were ejected, and as the two made their way off of the court, they exchanged words that seemed to point towards a potential fight. Despite early reports, a fight between the two never occurred -- thankfully.

Following the aftermath of the game, TSN's Josh Lewenberg brought up an interesting quote from Raptors head coach Dwane Casey from last week. Friday, while speaking on the incident between Serge Ibaka and a Thunder staff member, Casey stated that while he wanted his players to remain levelheaded, he also doesn't want them to back down either.

Lowry definitely did not back down on Monday. Fortunately the situation did not escalate, as the two went their separate ways and there was no meet up between the two in the lower level tunnels.
