No matter what level you play at, it's always important to display good sportsmanship.
Monday, NHL on NBC shared a post that told the story of a young hockey player that went above and beyond to make sure that his his opponents wouldn't be without a proper goalie. According to the tweet within the Instagram post, one team found themselves without a goalie after their regular starter had to miss the game due to illness. Without a proper back-up, the team was forced to use a regular skater as their goalie. Seeing this, the goalie from the opposing team came over on his own to personally provide the young player with a few pointers.
You can most certainly qualify that as #Sportsmanship. It would have been a whole lot easier for the opposing goalie to just watch the newly-appointed goalie struggle in net, as it would have offered his team a rather significant advantage. But the little guy decided that it would be far better to lend his opponent a helping hand.
